Welcome to the website of South Island Regional Transport Association ("SIRTA", "we", "us", or "our"), located at https://www.sirta.co.nz (the "Website"). By accessing and using any part of our Website or applying for membership, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). 2. About SIRTA
SIRTA is a dedicated regional body focused on advocating for and supporting transport operators across the South Island of New Zealand. Established in January 2025 , SIRTA operates as the trading name for the NZRTA Region 4 Inc , with a mission to create an industry-wide support system, fostering growth and efficiency in the transport community. Our advocacy extends to regional and local councils, ECAN, associated unitary authorities, and the Department of Conservation, addressing their impact on the transport industry.
3. Membership
3.1 Application: Membership in SIRTA requires the submission of a completed Membership Application Form. All information provided during the application process must be accurate and truthful. Acceptance of membership is at SIRTA's sole discretion.
3.2 Membership Tiers: SIRTA offers a flexible five-tier membership structure (Platinum, Gold, Silver Tier 1, Silver Tier 2, Bronze) with tailored benefits for various levels of transport businesses and individuals. Details regarding specific benefits are outlined on our Website and in our membership brochure.
3.3 Membership Cycle: Our membership operates on a 12-month subscription cycle from July to June.
3.4 Payment: If you join partway through this cycle, your membership fee will be calculated on a pro rata basis for the remaining months until June. Currently, annual or monthly membership fees are accepted solely via Manual Bank Transfer only. Payment instructions will be provided on your invoice.
3.5 Member Conduct: Members agree to uphold the values and principles of SIRTA and to engage respectfully within the community and in all SIRTA related activities.
4. User Obligations
You agree to use the Website and SIRTA's services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Website or services. Prohibited conduct includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within our Website.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
